Super Bowl Sunday was a big day for us. Since our family is part of both Red Sox Nation and Who Dat Nation, we were pulling hard for the Saints. Earlier in the week Mimi mailed us all Saints gear, and we were ready to cheer them on. For the playoff game, C was still sick and had thrown up on his shirt the minute I put it on. I warned my sports superstitious husband, "we cannot recreate that moment, so should we have him wear it or not?" He did wear the shirt for the whole game (though we were shocked that it fit, it was HUGE at Christmas time!)
Besides the Saints momentous win, it was also a big day because C finally rolled over. We were at our friends house (they have an almost 4 year old and a 2 week old). C was watching the 4 year old playing and kept rolling to his side, and we all would watch him teeter there for a moment, and then finally her landed on his stomach. He ended up in his little push up pose with a "um, what was that" face! It is great timing that Mimi and Grandpa and lots of family are coming into town to see him this weekend...they won't recognize the kid who screamed bloody murder at Christmas when we put him on this tummy!
It was so funny to see what a giant C looked like next to his 2 week old friend!
