Windy Wet and Wild

Setting up the water table in the kitchen seemed like a crazy idea...until today when it was 80 degrees and too windy to go outside. C loved it. Even when we squirted him in the face by accident he laughed once the couple of seconds of shock wore off. His favorite things was trying the capture the stream of water that comes out of the little cup. Like bubbles, it always amuses him that he gets so close, but it still manages to slip through his fingers. He did try to climb in (second photo from the top) and one time try to drink the water out of it like a trough. We followed this fun with a lunch of "sneaky sandwiches". We just came up with this today. Since he would eat bread all day long, we squished together some bread and deli roast beef together in a small piece so it was almost impossible for his little fingers to separate them. Which is a hard task, since he has MASTERED picking and choosing what he wants and doesn't want to eat. If he picks up a piece of bread and turkey at the same time, he will manage to eat the bread, and spit out the turkey. But sneaky sandwiches were a success! He didn't even seem to notice!
